Description: - The Best Western Abbey Hotel was built as a wealthy
merchant's house in the 1740's and reopened in 1990 after a complete refurbishment.
Our bedrooms are well appointed with all the amenities the modern day traveler
expects. The Wedgwood Restaurant, is a popular venue for residents & locals alike
to enjoy a relaxed dining atmpsphere, while the bar and lounge provides the ideal
meeting place. The City of Bath, famed for its Roman origins and unsurpassed Georgian
architecture, has been designated an International Heritage City by the United
Nations. Our hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Abbey, Roman Baths and
Pump Room. Within an easy drive are Cheddar George and Caves, Stonehenge, Wells,
Cheltenham, Salisbury, as well as Glastonbury.
